On Friday 13th of March, Jo Yates Sales Director at Metrorod raised £400 for our charity. Jo wore her onesie to do the school run, directors of Metro Rod (Mid Lancs) donated £200 and this was matched by the director’s brother Ian Yates.
This easy to do task has raised £400 for our charity which will go a long way in funding towards gifts for families with a child suffering from Dravet Syndrome such as a family holiday or a holiday for respite, house adaptions, such as ramps for wheelchairs, air conditioning in a child’s bedroom or even CCTV in the bedroom or living room to give peace of mind when not in the same room.
This isn’t this isn’t the first time this local business has supported our charity, having a table at last years fundraising ball, supporting with gifts and donations and are the proud sponsors of this years Kiddie Climb event which takes place on 13th June.
We would like to thank Metrorod for there continuing support and look forward to working with them closely in the future.
